Overview

Purpose

The purpose of the site is simple. I want to create a place where all of the information regarding Jackz can be placed and stored. This includes updates about open timeslots for barnhunt trials and information on upcoming trials.

Audience

The intended audience will all of the people who are part of NWA barnhunt or those looking to participate in NWA barnhunt activities. This also applies to anyone just looking to experience and learn more about barn hunt.

Dynamic elements

The first thing that I will do is use an array of objects to store available lessons for sign up. Each of these lesson objects will contain an id, title, level, price, and isAvailable property. I will also create a user profile object that will store data of the user. I will use the .filter mehtod to allow people to search through the available lessons with more ease. This will allow people to search for classes based on level of experience (novice, open, master). I will even use the .map method to display these lessons on screen. The .forEach method will then be used to attach event listeners to several sign up buttons at the same time. I then plan on creating three functions. these will be displayLessons(data), filterLessons(level) and handleRegistration(event). Each lesson will have the isAvailable property as I stated earlier on. Should the isAvailable be false the sign up button will be changed to class full and will not allow the user to sign up.

Jackz is a start up company focused on bringing the best experience for you and your beloved dog. How do we do this you ask? The answer is simple. Through our loving products and confidence building, enriching barnhunt Trials along side NWA Barnhunt. The treat bags designed and produced by Jackz is the perfect companion to any aspiring or established dog trainer. With its removable pouches you can easily swap treats for any given occasion or training session. The removable treat pouches not only allow for easy washing, but also allows for easy storage! NWA Barnhunt NWA Barnhunt is a recently opened barn hunt club based in Northwest Arkansas that is providing more chances to everyone around to experience the enriching activities of barnhunt. Together with Jackz anybody can sign up for barnhunt lessons to prepare for any upcoming trials or just for the enrichment of their dog! What is Barnhunt? Barnhunt is a dog sport in which your dog can compete by finding several rats inside of tubes hidden within a straw obsticle course. Barnhunt has several levels in which your dog can compete, including: Novice, Open, Senior, Master and Crazy 8s. Click here to learn more and sign up for a lesson!

More information about barnhunt and its trials! Novice: At the Novice level your dog will find one rat, complete a climb, and travel through one straight tunnel within two minutes. Open: At the Open level your dog will find two rats, complete a climb, and travel through a tunnel with one turn within two minutes and 30 seconds. Senior: At the Senior level your dog will find 4 rats, complete a climb, and travel through a tunnel with one or two turns within three minutes and 30 seconds. Master: At the Master level your dog will find 1 - 5 rats, complete a climb, and travel through a complex tunnel within four minutes and 30 seconds. The number of rats that your dog will need to find will be chosen without the knowledge of the handler. Crazy 8s: Crazy eights is a special type of even seperate from the rest where the dogs are challenged to find as many of the 8 rats as they can within 2 minutes. The more rats they find, the more points they'll earn! Due to not having enough rats and tubes it will not be possible to fully practice crazy eights.
